How to get rid of fear
What is Fear?
Emotions play an important part in our daily lives. Fear is one such emotion that is pre-programmed into all animals and people as an instinctual response to potential danger.
As for what is fear biologically speaking, when a person experiences fear, certain areas in their brain such as the Amygdala and the hypothalamus are immediately activated and appear to control the first physical response to fear. Chemicals such as adrenaline and the stress hormone Cortisol are released into the blood stream causing certain physical reactions such as:
Rapid heart rate
Increased blood pressure
Tightening of muscles
Sharpened or redirected senses
Dilation of the pupils (to let in more light)
Increased sweating
Different types of fears are as follows:
Fear of Disappointment,
Fear of Rejection,
Fear of Failure,
Fear of Death,
Fear of spiders (Arachnophobia),
Fear of blood (Hemaphobia),
Fear of heights (Acrophobia),
Fear of exams (Testophobia),
Fear of work (Ergophobia) etc.
How to get rid of fear??
Overcoming fear is a skill that anyone can learn. The problem is that most people attach to their fears. If you are not ready to start overcoming fear, you probably will not.
Different ways to get rid of fear:
Awareness:
When you want to overcoming fear, you should aware about what type of fear is exist in your life, and after identify you should put your efforts according to the level of fear.
Sedona Method:
Another simple system to overcoming fear is the Sedona method. It consists of asking a few simple questions while focusing on your fear. It’s so simple that I dismissed it several times before taking it seriously.
