There is always confusion between rather the Industrial Revolution was a revolution or a movement, and it is most definitely a revolution. A revolution is a dramatic and wide-reaching change in the way something works or is organized or in people’s ideas about it. A movement is a group of people working together to advance their shared political, social, or artistic ideas. The Industrial Revolution was a time of great age, and was presented internationally. It represented major change from 1760 to the time period of 1820-1840. Later on, there were resources available to create inventions that transported good faster than the pace it was going. One of the useful transportation methods was the steamboat.
