Trophys Should Be Abolished Essay
Have you ever played a sport , and you didn't earn a trophy? How did that make you feel? Therefore, as long as kids are on a team, they should earn trophies. The following reasons support my claim: kids love the sport, keeps the children fit, and finally, the joy kids bring.
To start of with, children should earn a trophy because they love the sport, not the trophy. What I mean is some kids or even adults LOVE the sport their in. Not the trophy that makes them feel GREAT. Also , so what if they like the trophy , let the kids have some fun , you can only be a child until 18 !( time flies by the way!!)For example, if you are really good at softball, and you got a trophy, that is a good feeling ,right. Well not any more because image you're dad throwing that trophy away, all of a sudden you think you are terrible at softball. Also, participants, might be good friends with their teammates. This is good for the children because if they have a hard time making friends in school then, the player's teammates might be his or her friends. In the end, who cares if the kids does or doesn’t like the trophy , the kids only live once! My second reason why I strongly believe why all team members should earn a trophy is ,

For example, let’s say that you're team is down by a score you can encourage them. You don’t just give up, do you? So now let’s say that you score a goal , the game is all tied up ! Now if that team mate wasn’t there to encourage the others , the game might not be tied. Now in a way, that person sort of just won the game for the WHOLE team! Even if you are not participating or if you just scored one goal, all team members should get a trophy. Now am I persuading you? In the obviously, all team members should get a trophy!
