This stage wasn’t difficult for us since we already knew each other really well, we didn’t have to really go through the stage of knowing each other.
The goal for our team was to create a presentation on our given president candidate. Our group was able to achieve this task by creating a PowerPoint presentation and an interactive live Twitter Q&A for the audience. This gave the audience to also be part of it and become involved as well. Overall, I believe we had a great team since we already knew each other and had a good idea already of everyone strengths and weaknesses. We each gave everyone a role and have something for them to be responsible so our project can be organized and each member had something to do. However, we did encounter a problem during our team’s project. This problem we had relates to the second stage if the Tuckman’s Five Stage Model, storming. It ended up being a success, and everyone completed what they had to do on time. Many people came to presentation day, and were able to spread more knowledge about our presidential candidate, Bernie Sanders. The next day, we are all in class and were given this reflection form our teacher to complete. This is similar to the last step from Tuckman’s 5 Stage Model, adjourning, where we had the chance to reflect what went well and bad during our project and evaluate on our team member’s performance. This allowed everyone to be able to reflect on our team work and what we can improve on for future projects. We didn’t have a farewell or anything since we were friends and saw each other every day, but were able to do the reflection which helped us think about the progress we made and how well we worked together for this project.
