Unit 5 3MER
A New Beginning – Employment Relationships.

All relationships require a beginning. Employment relationships can be as challenging and rewarding as personal relationships. It is therefore important to ensure that your recruitment process analyses all elements that may affect future relationships and its adherence to employment law legislation. It is assumed that both parties enter this contract at any stage verbally, written or implied voluntarily. Employment law legislation helps employers meet the minimum standards required for a healthy relationship.

Internal factors

As a prospective/ new employee it is important to understand the Company Strategy. A transparent strategy allows you to promote your business as it enables new employees to see the direction the company is working towards and the potential growth and job security that this offers. It also gives potential candidates an indication of development programmes that are offered and therefore what career opportunities are available. The feeling of belonging is an important emotion of increasing loyalty.
Hierarchical Structures give an insight of potential movement within a Company regardless of size. If your desire is to move your way up the company ladder, you need to know there are going to be roles available.

External factors

A review of your Companies Demographics will help you understand where your employees come from and then what type of workforce is available to you. From this you will understand any challenges that you will face when recruiting and what plans you will need to put in place to recruit the right person to the right job.
Market Influences: An evaluation of what is happening within your area with similar business may assist you with tracking your business growth and potential issues. Do you have any new competitors on the horizon that may attract your employees which could leave with a labour force issue? Equally a business that is struggling may go into receivership and then

The lymphatic system can also be known as the immune system. White blood cells are located near places where there could be pathogens entering, such as the tonsils. They are found in these places because they protect entry into the body. If pathogens do try to enter then the white blood cells will become activated and will attack the area of infection. They become activated when the dendritic cell engulfs neutrophils which contain the remains of pathogens that they have killed. The dendritic cells travel in lymph to the lymph nodes where it is chemically directed to co-operate with T helper cells that have receptors that are able to recognise proteins from…

A legal factor that has a big impact on Tesco’s is protecting employees which, includes the laws about how many hours an employee can work. This amount of hours depends on the employees contract, if they are a full time member of staff then they have to work between 35-45 hours a week but no more, these hours also have to be over reasonably shift, for example having a 8 hour shift a day over 5 days a week. If they are a part time member then they can work any amount of hours a week as long as it is no longer the 35 hours. This can impact on Tesco’s as they have to keep to the terms and conditions of their contracts with staff , which could affect activates Tesco’s wish to do as they may not fit in the with hours the members of staff involved can work.…

In the era that we live in, computers hold our very existence by having all of our information saved to them. From pictures of our families, to person documents like tax forms or medical records, almost all of these things are stored in some electronic form. This information is typically stored on computers with only one copy of the information, but what would happen if that computer or multiple computers failed? What would happen to all that important information and memories? In some cases they can be recovered but at a high cost. Most data recovery services can cost up to $2000.00 dollars to recover lost data. This can all be avoided by backing up data periodically.…

Government agencies are set up to specifically monitor and combat terrorism. These agencies in the UK are NaCTSO (National counter terrorism security office) SIS (MI6). The biggest threat to the National security comes from overseas. Al-Qaeda and their leaders are the biggest threat to our nation at the moment. The threat is becoming more diverse as groups associated to and inspired by Al-Qaeda develop more independence in directing operations. Therefore we are likely to see a more unpredictable picture in the future, potentially with more frequent, although less sophisticated attacks. The UK is at the forefront of international co-operation against the threat posed by international terrorists. Since 2003, the UK has been applying a long-term strategy for countering international terrorism and the extremism that lies behind it. The main aim of these agencies is to reduce the risk of national terrorism, so that people can live their lives without feeling unsafe or weary of religious groups. The UK counter-terrorism strategy is known as ‘contest’ and divided into four principal areas:…

The Exchange setup requires a Windows 64 Bit Edition to initiate; therefore using Windows 32 Bit Edition isn't supported with installation on the Management Tools from the Exchange 2007 Installation disk. The 32-bit version is for testing only. Many people like to test server software in a virtual environment before making the production plunge, take note that Virtual Server 2005 R2 does not support 64-bit guest’s virtual machines. Even VMware ESX 3.0 only had experimental support for 64-bit guest operating systems. ESX 3.0.1 now includes full support for 64-bit guests, but this is a recent release. Sure, desktop virtualization packages have supported 64-bit guest OSs for a while now, but the enterprise-variety virtualization offerings are just catching up to this. A transition is the process in which you perform an upgrade to Exchange 2007 that is you move data from any legacy Exchange servers in your Exchange organization to new Exchange 2007 Servers, after which you decommission the legacy Exchange servers. A transition should not be confused with a migration, because unlike a transition a migration is the process in which you move data from a non-Exchange messaging system (such as GroupWise, Lotus Notes or Send Mail) to an Exchange organization, or move data from a legacy Exchange organization in an existing Active Directory Forest to an Exchange organization in a new Active Directory Forest. It’s important to note that unlike previous versions of Exchange, in-place upgrades from Exchange 2003 to Exchange Server 2007 aren’t supported, because, among other reasons, Exchange 2007 is 64-bit and therefore requires the x64-bit version of Windows Server 2003; We shouldn’t forget that Exchange Server 2007 also exists in a 32-bit version but this version is meant to be used for testing and evaluation…
