Explore the impact of social media on the ways in which organisations promote their products and services and exploring the ways organisations can use social media.

There are many ways to interact with customers and promote products/services using social media as it becomes more and more popular with the public across the world.
Using social media for marketing can help small organisations gather more customers from a wider spectrum. Many customers already interact with other company’s using social media because it is easy to use.

For example, if your target audience is between 16-20 then you need to take certain factors into account such as people in that particular age group may not have a substantial income if any so your company may decide to advertise products with things like student discounts. This will engage that target audience because the customer will think the advert is directed at them and this will make them interested and may consider buying your products. Primark post every day and sometimes they post multiple times in a day and this is good because the followers will get notified and then the brand will be on their mind. Primark post good quality images like Costa and Microsoft but sometimes Primark’s posts are a little confusing because they post a picture then they leave a caption including a price but it is not always clear as to what it is in the picture they are selling because there is no indication. A good thing that Primark does on Facebook is that on some posts they leave a link that directs you to other social media pages such as their Instagram page. Both Costa and Microsoft do not do
