One thing I learned from the sources is that prosecutors offer special programs for victims of domestic violence in exchange for their assistance during prosecution. Another thing the resources taught me more about evidence based prosecution. I now know what has led to the courts utilizing evidence based prosecution, challenges facing prosecutors in domestic violence cases which were unique (Evidence-based prosecution, 2012). I also learned about some of the benefits of evidenced based prosecution. One benefit of evidence based prosecution is it can result in more offenders being convicted (Evidence-based prosecution, 2012). Lastly, the video taught me the importance of evidence in the prosecution of domestic violence cases. I now know that high tech cameras are now used by law enforcement authorities to capture proof of the strangulation occurring (Evidence-based prosecution, 2012). This does not have to do with evidence, but one thing the video taught me was in 2010 Arizona law makers passed a law making strangulation in domestic violence cases a felony. This law required proof of restricted breathing or blood circulation ("How Important is Evidence in Prosecution of D.V.?",
