Victor And Bull Analysis
Even in the hardest situations if you persevere through it, the outcome can be good. In the story Cracked the point of view chances from Victor and Bull. Victor's parents are rich, but neither of them wanted a child. They treat Victor poorly and with very high expectations. Victor is bullied heavily at school by Bull. Being overwhelmed by his life Victor tries to kill himself. Bull lives with his mom and grandpa who are very poor. Bull’s family spends almost all of the money they make on alcohol. His grandfather who is always drunk beats Bull a lot. Bull takes out most of his anger on Victor at school. Bull finally has to much and tries to kill his grandpa, but in the process Bull shoots himself.
When Victor wakes up he is in a psych ward …show more content…
While trying to shoot his grandfather Bull fell and shot his thigh. He's grandfather lied and said Bull tried to kill myself so Bull wouldn't go to jail. Bull wanted the pain he had to suffer through to be over. Bull wanted to run away from his mother and grandfather and go to ocean city and find his father he never meet.
Bulls time at the psych center was quite different than Victors. Bull felt like he had a vacation, he had food, a bed, and no beatings. Bull meet a girl that he liked in the ward that made his time easier. Victor felt like he was out of place other than his one friend Nicole he meet in there. Victor loves her almost instantly. Both Victor and Bull came in the psych ward with many problems, but when they went out they felt better. Bulls mother now didn't drunk and worked more. Victor’s grandmother now lives with him so he is not alone with his parents.
I choose the theme even in the hardest situations the outcome can be good. It describes the story Cracked because both Bull and Victor’s life gets worse before it gets better. Victor and Bull don't become friends in the end, but they do respect each other. You can't give up because this is just the beginning of your life and things can always get better. Life gets better and if Victor took more pills or Bull’s shot was more on target they wouldn't have experienced
