Using your results

How did you score? (Include score) How high are your daily and weekly stress scores?
The highest score daily is around 10 pm when I have to drive from one campus to the other to get to class in time and I have to deal with all the people driving. And my highest score weekly is usually Saturday and Sunday that are the days that I work the whole day.

Are you satisfied with your stress rating? If not, set a specific goal.

I am actually really satisfied with my stress levels. I can do nothing about the stress that I go through at work because of the kind of work I do, I am a server so I get really stressed out with people asking for a hundred and ten different things.

Relaxation Techniques

Choose two relaxation techniques discussed in chapter 10 such as progressive relaxation, visualization, deep breathing, meditation, music, etc.

List the technique you tried.

I have used music as a relaxation technique.

How did you feel before you tried these techniques?

Before I tried this techniques I was really tense after a 12 hour shift at my job.

How did you feel during these techniques?

I was listening to Queen my favorite band, so I was really getting into the lyrics and the sound of the instruments I really felt like I wasn’t here.

How did you feel after these techniques?

I felt really relaxed I really didn’t want to ever “wake up”
