2. The meaning of life to me is to live with happiness and know you have a purpose. Many humans base their belief off of religion and values but I solely base mine off of purpose. I strongly believe that you should make the best of everything in life. Whether its a situation or its to see the good in everything that life has to offer you. I also believe that whether you choose to make a difference in your own life, someone elses, educate others or just work hard, than you have the ability to give your life meaning.

Plato.
1.He was student of socrates, and his birth name was Aristocles , Plato was given to him in his school days from the greek word platon, which means broad, because of his broad shoulders.

4. If i could ask each philospher on question i would ask Socrates his feelings/opinions on getting out on trialand sentenced to death for corrupting the youth and getting senteced to death. I would ask im this because he seemed to believe in what he was teaching and worked really hard to get, only to get killed for.I could not imagine beliving in something so stronglyand others wanting you dead for it. I would ask plato why he belived there needed to be three different levels of society? i would aski him this because i believe everyone should be treated and looked at as equals no matter where they fall on the social scale. noone is better than anyonebecause of the people they talk to or the money they make. i would as Aristotle where he got him ideas of ethics from. i only ask him this because the book states that he clearly different from his predeccessors, so where would he get such a different idea of ethics from, was he tought it by a different teacher or by his parents maybe.
5.Racism and discrimination are a major global problem to me, Racism is used to put hatred or fear on someone for their culture, beliefs, or color of their skin.
i believe that racism is being brought out more and more everyday by society alone. Racism alone can cause major probkems and serious consequences(in example: ferguson riots) but when you get others involved including media, its brought out to be bigger than what it is. I believe we all belong to one race, no matter what you belive in, the color of your skin, or the culture your form and thats the human race. I feel as human beings we have been unable to se and experience th uniqueness of different ethnic groupd because fear and discrimintaion has taken control. This is a serious problem thats not only going on in america, but the middle east, africa, europe and australia, that many seen scared to discuss. If we all just accepted eachother for who we are, we could minimize racism all over the
world.
