What Does Respect Mean To Me

Journal Entry 11- Respect The one thing i respect in people is their honesty, if you are honest with me i will respect you regardless. Also one other thing which makes me respect others is how you treat others and what you say about them when they are not there. If I hear you talking bad about another person when we are not that close i will loose a lot of respect because for all I know you talk about me too. The thing that I respect most about myself is the thing I wish to see in others too, honesty. I may come off at rude and may say the wrong thing at the wrong time which may upset you but i will be honest with you. Someone earns my respect by not doing me bad. In the t.v show Everybody Hates Chris, Terry Crews says that there is a difference
between having respect and being scared, but the people i respect are also the people i am comfortable with or look up too.

Journal Entry 12- Song One song that is very important to me is J.
Cole’s is Crooked Smile. I listen to this song everytime because it just makes me think about my life how other people struggle to impress others. One line from the song which really appeals to me is “We ain't picture perfect but we worth the picture still” and i believe he is talking about how everyone's always talking about their body , for example I'm too skinny, too short, too fat or as a reference to the song it self his crooked teeth. This song is important because someone will always try to bring someone down and especially in high school you will get judged over the smallest things that you do but this song assures you that you are still worth the
picture.

Journal Entry 13- Fashion The clothes I wear are really nothing special, I always go to express and look around to see if i like something else. I mostly wear khaki pants because i think you could wear anything with them or a white tee because you could wear anything on the bottom.

Journal Entry 14- Food Last night I ate pizza from dominoes. The thing I like to eat the most is chicken over rice with pita bread because it's cheap and it fills you up plus it tastes good too.

Journal Entry 15- Death Penalty I am not against the death penalty but that does not mean you could give it to just anybody, I believe it should be given to serial killers and other people who just murder people. Not if somebody committed manslaughter and it was by mistake only to those who purposely killed large amounts of people.
Journal Entry 16- Dream Job My dream job regardless of money and the level of education is the same thing I am going to right now, and that is the air force.
I have never really been interested in an office job where all I do is sit around and fill out paperwork. That seems boring but in the military I will always be doing something different I may even be stationed in a different city or country. The military seems to be an adventurous thing which obviously I do take seriously but also am willing to spend at least ten years of life doing this. My uncle was in the army too and I was looked up to him and once when I went to visit him and his family I seen how he dressed up and went to work and I wanted to do it ever
since.
Journal Entry 17- Snacks
My favorite snacks are double stuffed oreos and coca-cola. I drink a lot of soda and also i love the cool ranch doritos. But lately I have cut down on all of this because my acne was really bad and I had to wait for my skin to clear up.
Journal Entry 18- Fear I fear that when I grow up I won't be successful, that twenty years from now I will still either be working a low wage job and not be able to support myself or family. Also that I will not be able to accomplish everything I promised my self I would accomplish.

Journal 19- Long Weekend

If I were home alone all weekend then I would make plans with my friends to go to places over the course of the day. Nothing special probably just go to the mall on friday and then on my way home buy some chicken over rice for dinner. And then on Saturday I would wake up whenever I want to (that is probably before 10) and get ready to go play basketball. After I play basketball I would go to the Hibachi buffet with my friends in secaucus and after eating I would go to my cousins house who lives a few houses away from me and just chill with him the whole day and eat dinner there so I could save up money for myself. After two days of having fun I would wake up sunday morning do homework and then relax for the rest of the day. Just watch t.v and catch up to the shows I have fallen behind on. That would be my whole weekend.
