What I learned at Natural A's

You should always stay positive, motivated and alert if you would like to be successful and live a good life. Here are some ways I learned today how to do well and get good grades in school and be a successful person. Proper nutrition plays a very big role in doing successful in school. There are many bad foods to eat such as chips, candy, burgers, fries, soda, and many more. Some good, healthy brain food such as fresh fruits and veggies, real protein, and whole grain. These foods will help you stay awake and focused throughout your day. Another important thing to think about is your sleep habits. studies show that a student that gets 45 min more sleep that someone with 45 min less is more likely do get better grades

How? by showing up ontime and not goofing off in class the teacher will know that you want to be there. By the teacher knowing that, it will help you if you have a high B+ and you need that A-. Some tips: Be early, be friendly, sit away from your friends, participate, stay back after class and ask questions. these tips will help you get on the teachers good side. When taking notes, writing down everything the teacher says will be a waste of time. To help you save time writing notes listen for key words such as: definitions, numbers, in summary, you may see this again, remember this, most important is, this will be on the test. Also be sure to listen to the teachers tone of voice. so those are some tips on key words. Reading everything in a chapter could take a while and be boreing. Skimming through chapters could help and save time. By reading the chapter titele, first two paragraphs, last two paragraphs, major headings and major heading pararaphs will give you the main idea of the chapter. What to look for in books- Math: Formulas and equations Science: Laws, terms, formula and principals Social studies: Terms and concepts. These are some ways to skim
