Romeo and Juliet know that they are from different families, but they don’t want to give up their love for each other. This is shown when Juliet says, “Thy purpose marriage, send me word tomorrow,” (2, 2, 151). In this line, it tells about how much they love one another. Juliet knows that Romeo is a Montague, but they risk their lives and their dignities to be with each other. Another example is when Juliet states, “My only love sprung from my only hate! Too early seen unknown, and known too late! Prodigious birth of love it is to me that I must love a loathed enemy,” (1, 5, 152-155).
