Colonization (1607-1763) – Without colonization, the thing that started it all, there would be no means of any history subsequently. Starting with the very first, the Jamestown settlement is regarded as the first permanent English settlement in what we now call the United States of America. It was founded on May 14, 1607 in the Virginia Colony. This specific event would rightfully go through America in the world and Environment and Geography seeing as it had successfully helped expand Britain as a whole.

He played a big role in the making of the Articles of Confederation and the Constitution and when he was a secretary, he established strong diplomatic positions with the European nations. Constitution (1787) – The U.S. Constitution is a critical document for many reasons. But, primarily it founded the government and was the basis of the United States. It pretty much lays out all the rights the American citizens have in the country. This document fits well in the theme, America in the World for it is how America runs its rules apart from the rest of the globe.
Printing Press – The printing press was one of the first worldwide means of communication and social Media. It is definitely considered to be a game changer seeing as it is able to deliver news not just within a local area but throughout entire nations. Work, Exchange, and Technology is where the printing press should be because of how it was a new and faster way to deliver information.
Steam Engine – The steam engine was important to all industries including outside of the United States. The steam engine could be used almost anywhere, where before mills had to either use wind power or water power to turn the mill, the steam engine allowed a mill to be turned anywhere and anytime.
