What Is The Theme Of Stand By Me
The movie is set in the 1950s, in the summer before the boys graduate to high school. In the plot line of Stand By Me; Gordie Lachance (Wil Wheaton), Vern Tessio (Jerry O’Connell), Christopher Chambers (River Phoenix), and Teddy Duschamp (Corey Feldman); who are the best of friends set out on a journey to investigate a rumor they heard from an older gang including some of their older siblings. The mystery soon becomes a race between gangs to find the answer and bring the evidence back home. On the several day journey, they encounter physical and emotional obstacles, and learn about the world beyond their small town of Castle Rock.
