Narrative/ Descriptive Essay The day before my first full day of junior year I continue telling myself, “Whoo! Junior year. I’m going to have so much fun this year.” However, even though I am ready to begin the new school year, nervousness about my first day plagues my mind. I ponder what to wear. I have a whole closet of clothes which is stuffed like my grandmother’s Thanksgiving turkey, but I find myself stumped on which outfit to wear for day number one. With this trivial dilemma in mind, I inquire, “Why not go shopping one last time before school?” After pleading and begging like my little Australian Sheppard for permission to go on my adventure, I ask myself the only thing left to consider, “Where shall I go shopping for this special attire?” I acknowledge every possible mall around. Finally, I decide on shopping at Rivergate Mall, so off I go! My last adventure before I start school includes a relaxing day by myself shopping for an outstanding first day outfit at Rivergate Mall. Upon arriving at the mall, I questioned where to start my adventure. “Shall I begin at JC Penny? Dillard’s? Rue 21?” After weighing my options and gazing about, I settle on where I find the better parking spot, which happens to be directly in front of the doors of the food court. The food court is not my first thought when thinking of all the places I wanted to go. However,
while walking in, I am very happy that I enter the mall through that particular doorway. The result of this, my first purchase on my relaxing day is six mini M&M cookies. The flavor of warm, sweet, heavenly, melt in my mouth cookies explodes on my taste buds. With a sweet snack in my tummy and a buzzing sugar high, I wonder on to the first store I come across, JC Penny, in search of a new cute shirt. As I walk into the first part of the store, I realize I have not shopped here in a few months, so I stand for a minute trying to remember how to get to the section of the store I am
