Who Is Atticus Selfless
Atticus displayed selflessness when he took on Tom Robinson’s case. He knew that he was putting his job and his personal life at risk. Atticus was a well-respected man in their town of Maycomb County, but he put Tom before himself, like any hero, should. Atticus also showed selflessness with his interactions with Mrs. Dubose. He respected her, even when she does the opposite in return. He knew that she was struggling with her morphine addiction, so he showed her kindness.
