When Dr. Frankenstein was the age of thirteen he discovered about the works of Cornelius Agrippa. He was fascinated by the ideas of modern science. He also encountered a catastrophe that made him more interested in learning about electricity and galvanism. When he was at the age of seventeen his mother dies due to scarlet fever. It was with these feelings that I began the creation of a human being”.(40) Victor Frankenstein devotes most of the years of his life to create this creature out of body parts but he does not think about the consequences of what could happen after creating this creation. Victor’s obsession with controlling life and death is a direct challenge to the power of God. Creating life to Victor seems to be prodigious and during the period of time in which this book was written it could be considered just as inane too. For victor creating life could also give him massive amount of pride and confidence. Victor does not think about benefitting other from his creation and causes harm to his beloved ones. He used science to help him with his curiosity but he goes too far and he unleashed a strong evil
