Coach Weeks eats healthy, he texts me on what to eat before a game; he also told me to make it an everyday habit and that I will thank myself when I am older. He makes sure I maintain composure on the basketball court even if I am enraged to a full extent; Coach Weeks also teaches the team to stay positive whether it is during a basketball game or everyday life. Coach Weeks is very thoughtful of others, I remember before basketball season he had mr friend, Noah join a workout with him to get into shape and it looked challenging. When the team did not have a practice during Christmas break, Alex said he would be in the gym around noon if any of us wanted to come and get shots up. Coach also wanted the team to start reading a John Wooden book, Alex said that he read it when he was around our age and that it was a very good book. Coach Weeks has taught me to attack the basket and drive to the hoop with confidence. I remember after a practice ended he asked me and some other players to stay longer so we could work on a drill with him; we spent a good twenty minutes working on finishing strong as he guarded us, it honestly helped me out a lot. Coach Weeks also taught the team many post moves that we use in games and it helps out the team. He makes sure the team shows no emotion on the court and our team has improved attitude-wise by taking this in.
