Today I am going to let you know how exciting and interesting this class is and hopefully get you excited to take it next year.…
My instructor has been very encouraging during this course. My instructor is available, answers emails in a timely manner and reaches out to me as a student to make sure that I have what I need to be successful. I am grateful for her assistance and look forward to the remaining of the…

After completing the class, I learned that we must be advocates for change. The ignorance that I previously thought of as self inflicted was actually a thought process that had been engraved…
This class has made an impact on my life in the spring term. Even though I am still kind of nervous speaking in front of an audience, I have overcome my fear of public speaking. Speech after speech, I…
Above all, this course has helped me appreciate education more. I have now realized the reality of what my parents have always told me, that my education is really my investment for the future. It toughens me and prepares me to face the hardship and challenges that I will face when I become an adult.…
Ever since I was young I remember dance always being one of those things that was always there when I needed it. Everyday I looked forward to going to class and working hard, doing my best to get better everyday. I officially started dancing when I was three, however, it wasn’t until I got to the age of around 10 or 11. This was about a year after I moved to Kansas City and when I just started going to the Kansas City Ballet. The whole experience changed my point of view completely over not just dance but ballet to. I would definitely not be where I am today if it wasn’t for moving to KCB.…
I can honestly say that I believe that some classes and subjects change your life? Shouldn’t they all? Well I can speak from personal experience, they do not. I am only 3 weeks into this course and I’m completely enveloped in it, so-much-so that I may even be neglecting my other courses.…
This class has been an experience to which I am thankful for. I believe this class should continue to be a must for all incoming freshman here at Concordia. By taking this class I learned so many things about how to successfully adapt from high school classes to college courses. Every day in your class was a new day for me to learn about how to prepare and plan for success for not only the next four years, but also for the rest of my life. The great thing about transitions though, is that I was about to meet so many great new people in my life. With all the interacting done between people in the class, I was able to talk and have conversations with everybody…
Achieving academic success and building a child’s foundation is one of the most important missions in an elementary school environment. Taking the raw tools and talents each student has and molding those skills into a student is a very challenging task, but one every teacher happily sets in front of themselves every school year. Every subject is like an ingredient that comprises the final product – a successful student – and without having physical education each of the 350 students in the given scenario will be short of what they need to be successful.…

About fifteen percent of children in the U.S. are constantly absent from school because of illness, making them much more likely to fail and eventually drop out. If all schools would make everyone get vaccinated the number of ill children would go down. Immunization is very important for the health of all children. All children should be immunized before starting school to help prevent widespread diseases, to help fight infection, and expand the child’s immune system.…
This class has allowed me to further my writing and reasoning skills due to its philosophical tendencies. Over the entirety of my academic career I have achieved a great number of skills which I am proud of. In my elementary school years I was one of the youngest to achieve a college level of reading comprehension and as such have had little trouble in understanding assignments and completing them swiftly, often resulting in me aiding fellow students to grasp the concept. Having said that there have been times where I overlooked a detail and as such I then sought help only to discover it was something small I had missed. This aperient rise and fall has humbled me and allowed me to never belittle or look down on someone for not understanding something.…
While I know that I may have lacked in verbally participating in this class throughout the semester, I feel that this class has given me the courage to actively incorporate everything we have learned this semester…
Honestly when I signed up for this class at the end of last year I was kind of looking forward to it. When I heard the name of the class I thought it would be very interesting and give me a new perspective on the world and my place in it.…
