Why Are Daycare Workers Important
If I could make one change in today’s child or family development professions, it would be the pay rate for pre-school as well as Daycare workers. Furthermore, child care professions are important, they were important in the past and they are important in our society today. Moreover, a daycare worker is usually the first teacher a child may have except for their parents.
A Daycare worker is not a babysitter, they are more than that. A Daycare worker make sure that they children in their care basic needs are met, this includes feeding, diapering and napping. Furthermore, Daycare workers should also make it their main priority that the children in their care are developing physically, socially, emotionally, socially as well as mentally. This

    As a nursery assistant my role within the setting is to provide a safe and secure enviroment for all children. By doing this i help to complete a health and safety checklist every morning to ensure all equipment and facilities are clean and safe in order for children to access and use independantly.
