Why Clubfitting Is Important
The key to a good swing and to a great game is the suitability of golf clubs to the golfer’s body. Nowadays, having a clubfitting can no longer be simply considered as just another luxury for golfers. More appropriately, clubfitting can now be considered as an essential for golf players.
Having a clubfitting and getting custom fitted golf clubs are advantageous in many ways. It prevents a golfer from developing poor swing habits caused by clubs unmatched to the player’s body.
The lack of custom fitted clubs will cause you to develop poor swing habits. There are also strong possibilities that you are making sideway shots. This is not the fault of your swing but rather the fault of your equipment.
The process of fitting golf clubs is actually not arduous. Rather, it is quite informative. Getting custom fitted golf clubs, will even make your games less frustrating because well-fit clubs result to a more efficient swing. Poorly-fit clubs also introduce complicating compensations that rob the swing of power.

Even 15 years ago pins were hardly ever placed three paces from the edge of a green on the PGA Tour—maybe two or three times, at most, throughout the tournament. Now, pins are placed three paces from the edge three or four times a day. This has led to an increased demand on precision for shaping shots. For example, if the only shot that a player has is a draw, it is virtually impossible to get close to a pin that is on the right side of the green guarded by a bunker on the right. With a draw, the closest a player can get to the pin is by landing it just over the bunker and having it release left (because of the hook spin) to the middle of the green.…

“A&P’ by John Updike is a very comical short story. When I read this story for the first time I laughed the whole time but I also felt bad for Sammy towards the end. Sammy says “ I said I quit” Sammy ended up quitting his job just because he thought that the three girls were being treated very unfairly. It was hilarious when Sammy quit his job then he went to the parking lot to find the girls but they were not there. “Bartleby the Scrivener,” written by Herman Melville, is very queer, and is deceptively simple. The Lawyer, a well established man working on Wall Street, hires a copyist—one who seems no different than any other copyist. However, Bartleby is different. His first response of “I would prefer not to,” (119) seems very innocent at first, but soon becomes a mantra. However, the strangeness of this story resonates at a much larger scale. By thoroughly examining the story, we can see the way Melville achieves in demonstrating the modern world through his story.…
