Why Do I Need A Scholarship

I am sincerely honored to have been selected as the recipient of the Presidential Scholarship. This scholarship will allow me to spend a greater amount of time focused on my education instead of on finding ways to pay for school. It will allow me to spend less time working and more time studying for my classes and enjoying the social and educational aspects of college. This scholarship will take a load off my shoulders and help me excel in school.
With my time at UVU, I plan on getting a masters degree in accounting with a minor in internal auditing. From the age of ten years old, I knew I would go to college and become an accountant. Time flew by and with the generous donation that I have received, I now have the opportunity to progress on
this goal. Education has always been a highest priority of mine and I am dedicated to working hard in order to be qualified in receiving this scholarship.
Along with the many educational opportunities UVU offers, I am excited to become part of the exciting social life that is offered on campus. Instead of having to spend nights and weekends working, I will have more time to enjoy some of the many social opportunities offered on campus.
This scholarship will also allow me to save money in order to pay for a masters program so I can become a CPE accountant.
