It had a bank, a grocery store, a newscast, a fire station, restaurant, and a painting studio. It was an area where children can come in and pretend to have a job in one of the areas. Another interesting area was the little Mexican town, it is an exhibit that chances time by time. It amazed me in how the accuracy of it look so real in how a little town in Mexico will look like. It had a store, a school, and a house. And when you went it into these little areas it had an activity for children to do. My favorite was the store, where kids were able to create a version of a Mexican sandal out of paper. The museum is a great place to bring children in and see many exhibits that fit their own interest. This were a verity of exhibits, and each one had something for a child to do and enjoy. For some reasons I thoughts museums were always free, and anyone could visit, especially if it was a museum like this one for children. But on the contrary everyone who wants to go had to pay per person. This becomes I bit difficult for anyone to come because not everyone is able to pay the entrée, it is more expensive than going to the Houston zoo. The children museum does have a free entrée for children on Thursdays, but in the afternoon. Nevertheless, it becomes a controversy because many parents are still working on the afternoon, making it is hard for them to make it on time to
