One in three U.S. students say they have been bullied at school. The question is why do bullies continue bullying? Do they have nothing else better to do? What are they trying to get out of it? Feeling better about themselves? Do bullies not realize they are hurting peoples feeling and putting them down. When will it ever stop? Bullying is just a cruel behavior to others or a group of aged people. Physical bullying includes hitting, kicking, tripping, pinching and pushing or damaging property. Physical causes both long term and short term damage. Over 60,000 children every year are admitted to emergency care in Australia due to physical bullying. Social bullying , sometimes referred to covert bullying is often harder to recognize and can be carried out behind the bullied persons back. It is designed to harm someones social reputation and/or cause himiliation. Social bullying includes lying and spreading rumors. It also includes negative facial or physical gestures. Verbal bullying includes name calling, insults, teasing, intimidation homophobic or racist remarks or verbal abuse. While verbal bullying can start off harmless, it can escalate to levels which start affecting the individual target. Relationship bullying sends the message that the bullied child is unlikeable, and not worthy of respect or friendship. The goal of relationship bullying is to isolate the victim by rejecting, excluding and/or humiliating her. This may take the form of refusing to talk to the child, excluding her from social activities, accusing her of bad behavior in order to get her in trouble, publicly spreading malicious rumors to prevent others from befriending her, and other public displays or stunts that cause humiliation to the victim. Relationship bullying refers to one partner in a relationship who bullies the other. Bullies feel so weak that they develop an overwhelming need to command and dominate, to compensate for how vulnerable they feel, according to Dr. Testa, author of "The Bully in Your Relationship.” This leads them to choose victims -- especially spouses and lovers -- over whom they believe they can exert complete control. Cyberbullying is a kind of cruel behavior that makes use of digital equipment, such as cell phones, computers, and tablets. Cyberbullies use text messages, social networking sites, instant message services, emails, and chat rooms to deliberately and repeatedly upset, embarrass, humiliate, or threaten people. Cyberbullying can also include setting up fake accounts to use against someone. Cyberbulling can also mean ignoring someones post, texts, and emails, avoiding him or her in an online game. Bullies do this in order to make that person feel isolated, alone, and a loser. Cyberullying can be carried out by one person or a group. Some cyberbullying is an extension of real-life bullying, but in many cases, the target wont know who the bully is. People tend to bully due to self issues concerning themseves.
