Consideration and refinement:
Originally my idea for the research project was something on the line of child development. I spent time thinking about my final questions carefully and have finally narrowed down to ‘What are the social, emotional and physical changes that occur during adolescences and what are some strategies parents can adopt?’. By HealthyFamilities BC
November 30,2014. https://www.healthyfamiliesbc.ca/home/articles/social-and-emotional-changes-adolescence-teens Key findings:
This website includes a lot of information on a child’s social, emotional and relationship changes that are noticeable when a child is going through adolescence. It also has a section that is dedicated to how a parent can help teens to overcome their social and emotional development.
Reliability:
This article was released later in 2014 so the time gap is around 4 years, the information however made sense and was reliable because many of the information stated on this article is declared to be similar to other websites I’ve explored in.
Capabilities:
My capability for literacy was developed after reading this article because rather than skimming through the whole page only looking for important notes, I read every single detail that was displayed on this page.
