Hockey is the coolest sport on earth. While it can injure you, a lion's share people enjoy the rapidly paced game that is hockey, since it keeps you in prime athletic shape, and people love to see the moves used in play.
One, major reason hockey is so entertaining to watch is that, it is such a rapid paced, and aggressive sport. The speed adds to the excitement that boils up in fans. It also moves much quicker than other sports, for example, baseball or football, which can end up taking so long, and moving so slowly that they are mundane to watch. Statistics show that you can get much stronger playing hockey in for only two weeks. One reason hockey is so demanding to your body, is that it requires you to, be skating at speeds around 20 mph, in equipment that weighs around 40lbs, making quick turns, moving the puck, and all the while, getting checked by people.
A third, large reason people watch hockey is that they love to watch the dekes, jukes, and dangles, so commonly used in hockey (deke is a term used to describe a deceptive movement that induces an opponent to move out of position). Moves in hockey can be noticed by even the uttermost ignorant people, you just detect the play, and know that it was incredibly difficult. To make this even better they are done at speeds that are about 25 mph.
Hockey seems to be a much better sport than most people think. Next time you see or think about, hockey, ponder about what you just read and realise what is really going on. It is likely you under valued hockey before, but will now start giving the credited needed and deserved. Maybe you will try hockey, but act now, or risk missing a
