Why I Considered A Bad Leader
Someone that I to work under that I consider a bad leader would have to be a history teacher that I had in the eighth grade. I consider him a bad leader because he treated my classmates and me terribly. He would yell at us a lot, sometimes act like a teenager instead of an adult and be a little rude to us sometimes. However, the worst thing that he ever did to me made me feel bad about myself and lower my self-confidence. He always told me numerous times that my younger sister “was one of his favorite students” since he also taught the elementary school , but would never say anything positive about me and this made me constantly worry that maybe I will not be able to please anyone no matter how hard I try. Although I am still trying to find my self-confidence today, I learned that the best person I can be is me and I would not …show more content…
During my first year at Gwinnett Online Campus, I met someone who I considered a good leader then and I still consider a good leader now. The person who I consider a good leader would have to be Mrs. Campbell because she is patient, understanding, loyal, hardworking, persistent, kind and nurturing. She has been an amazing teacher to me when I first came to Gwinnett Online Campus and she has been a great officer to me during Student Leadership Team. From working under her for almost two years, I have benefitted from her in many ways. One thing that I learned from working with her is to never be afraid to speak up if I am uncertain about something. Another thing I learned from working with her is to never sell myself short but at the same time not to think too highly of myself. The final thing I learned from working with her is to sometimes use my own judgement and to trust my instincts. I am blessed beyond words to work under such an amazing leader who always sees the best in

I chose Mary Edwards Walker as my leader for this final project. I have always enjoyed reading a little bit of military history and I always look for stories about people who have gone above and beyond the call of duty or went against the grain. In my opinion, she really set the bar high for other women to follow, and I find her to be an exemplary leader and role model for other women in the business world.…

My most admired leader would have to be Nita Cooper from the 4-H extension office. She has made a really big impact on my life that I have no idea what I would ever do without her. She really helps me become a better a person and have a better personality. The way she does that is that she leads by examples of herself being active in her community and helps out as much as she can. She has helped me when I needed help with my parliamentary procedure when I thought I couldn’t do it, she told me that I can. Unlike some people she cares a lot about your personal being.…

    1. I believe the most important characteristic of a strong, female leader is respect. A female leader is nothing if the people around her do not respect her, and in order to gain respect you must first be respectful. You must not only care about your future, but also the future of those around you. Through life, the most rewarding thing is to not only see myself succeed, but also to see those around me succeed. I care about each and every person I come in contact with, and I truly believe I leave a lasting, positive impact on them. Before transferring to Texas A&M University sports were my life, and I was ultimately defined as a leader on every team I was involved in. The opportunities I have…

However, I just know that being a leader is what I consider myself to be. I am a leader that wants what is best for the organization and what is best for all employees. I am a leader that believes you can never stop learning. Being honest, candid, having passion, respect, confidence, clarity, care, integrity, compassion, and able to engage employees, shows good leadership. Good leadership is having shared visions, humility, empowering, communication and being fearless; this is the type of leader that employees would want to lead them. These are all of what my personal philosophy of leadership is and more. When it comes to being a leader, I do not want to be just good, I want to be one of the best and at some point in my life, the…

I learned that you don’t have to show your authority and that you don’t have to be controlling to be a good leader. To be an effective leader, you have to be able to talk to people and be able to connect to the people you are working with. Letting everyone have a say in whatever decision needs to be made is a great way to get everyone feeling empowered and important. Depending on the type of team you have and the type of people you are working with lets you know what type of leadership style to use. Since our team was very self-motivated and productive, we didn’t have to rely on the leader telling us what to do. He would let the group know what the current situation was and asked how we should go about it. This really helped us to have our own opinions and voice and it worked out well for us.…

Leadership is one of the qualities where i have the least experience of. I have had many opportunities with being a leader of a group or a work environment but only for a short period of time. For example, in school when given a group work assignment, i’m usually the first one to suggest satisfying ideas to the group and i also assign certain obligations to each member to get the task done…

Lastly, my philosophy on leadership is simple: lead by example, always help, and never quit. Quitting is out of the question for me. Using excuses instead of giving your best, giving up on something (or someone), or abandoning your responsibilities are things I absolutely do not believe in. Promoting excellence in others starts with promoting it in yourself. I have found from being in…

It is difficult to narrow down the many instances where I have showed great leadership but many can be found in my involvements in teamwork. I have been looked to as a leader and have taken responsibility for various group projects. I have discovered much about fairness, compromise, and responsible qualities that are required to be a "good" leader. Often, I have had to sacrifice my own free time and personal desires for the benefit of the group. I believe this is the most important part of being a leader, the ability to sacrifice individual time and desires for the overall gain of the people that you are leading.…

Lesson six talks about Satan and the spirit world. According to the lesson, men have a vague understanding of Heaven and spiritual things, so much so that it is hard for them to grasp the realities of the spirit world. All we know is what the Bible unveils. The lesson introduces us to the spirit world – all the divers spirit-beings that dwell in the unseen material world about us – which is inclusive of all the heavens as well as the underworld of departed spirits, even the invisible things on Earth. It begins by defining some if the the different classes of angelic being called: Seraphim, Cherubim, Zoa or Living Creatures, Spirit Horses & Chariot Drivers, Archangels, Common Angels, Satan's Angels, and Fallen Angels. As we go deeper into the…
