Why I Crashed My Go-Kart
One day in the country I almost crashed my go-kart, in this story I will tell you what happened and what people need to do when driving with other people. One of the main things I would tell a passenger is to not mess up the driver because you could get into a accident in a car and in this case I almost crashed my go-kart.
It all started when I rode my go-kart to Jaiden's house, it’s only 15 minutes away. When
I got to her house she was sleeping like always. Then I had to wait for her to get up and when that finally occurred we played Xbox and the game we played was Black Ops II. Then we got something to eat, probably pizza, or whatever we found. Then we played Minecraft on a server called the hive. On the hive we usually play skywars, and you have to fight in the sky and if you fall off you die, or you could get killed by another player. We also play a game called Skygiants which is the same but their is another objective you have complete, which is you have to kill the other peoples giant.
We both got bored so we headed outside and got on my go-kart, then started to drive away from the house. We usually ride around her house or her barn. We sometimes ride out in the cornfield when it’s muddy because we love mudding right after it rains but this time it did not rain. Or we

So what i’m saying is we played hide and seek with a dog and he was good at it. Or we play with our grampa and he also chases us around the barn and we play tag then always get in trouble for something like going up into a

The narrative, The Driver’s Seat struck home for me because I just received my driver’s license this past May, 2015. I took time for me to actually drive and to become comfortable behind the wheel of a car. This piece of writing spoke to me and allowed me to review some of the identical thinking points that I went through while getting to the point of taking control of my dad’s car. The story effectively walked me through the trials of spirit and mental anguish that preceded me in taking hold of the vehicle with my dad as the co-pilot giving directions. This was the exact thing the driving instructor in The Driver’s Seat‘ taught the author. The routine of how to maneuver and throw caution to the wind- taking risks- to get the author over…

It was a nice day out this one summer afternoon, so my parents invited my family over for a barbeque at our house. I come from a big Mexican family, so it was a good thing we had a really big backyard. I am the youngest grandchild out of eighteen, the oldest was forty-one and I the youngest was seven at the time. The closest cousin to me in age at the time was eleven and I always tired to hangout with my older cousins. On this summer afternoon my cousins and I decided to build an obstacle course thought out my house to see who could run it the fastest. We made it start from my front yard and it weaved through the living room, my sister’s room, my parent’s room, then out the back door where it ended. My parents are the…
