Why I Want To Be A Personal Trainer
I never expected to want to go into a major that was related to teaching. I thought I had always known what I wanted to do. Like most teenagers I had several ideas of a career I’d like to pursue and personal trainer wasn’t one of them. It wasn’t until I got a new tumbling coach and found my love for exercising that I knew exactly what I wanted to do with my life. I wanted to become a personal trainer.
My tumbling coach was the one who inspired me to do something with fitness. My coach taught me discipline and hard work. I learned so much about myself and how much I was really capable of. I found something that I could continually work at and work towards improvement. It was something that made me feel good and a way I could take out frustration or other feelings in a healthy way. Exercising became my hobby. That’s when I realized that if someone helped me find my passion in exercising then I can do the same for someone else. I had decided I wanted to become a personal trainer. I’ve always loved helping people and wanting them to feel good about themselves. I know how much this outlet has helped me in several different ways and I want other people to experience it too. Every day I get more and more excited about knowing one day I will hopefully have the opportunity to help tons of people become better version of them both physically and

It’s given me an opportunity to experience what being a trainer and coach is like on a smaller scale. That has really validated that I feel like I should become a personal trainer. I love seeing the kids have goals they want to accomplish and the fact that I am able to help them do that is so rewarding for me. I enjoy helping them through the hard days, encouraging them, and making sure they realize that they are so much more capable than they think they are.
