Most athletic trainers' offices are, usually around some kind of sports complex, they can range from small recreation associations, to right beside cowboy's stadium. They want to be close because if there is an emergency, they would want to get there in as less time as possible. There are several trends in this field, one of them is athletic injury prevention, they do this by focusing mainly on young athletes. So these athletic trainers will go pee wee football games, or soccer games and stand on the sideline and treat injuries for little kids. Another trend in this field is a concussion management. This main idea of this program is to reduce the number of concussions on any/all athletes. Most athletic training warehouses would like you to be of the age of 18 before you can qualify as a ¨registered¨ athletic trainer. Almost all athletic trainers are older than that because they have gone through college. You do not need loads of experience, but some may help. A lot of places would like you to have a bachelor's degree, some may take a master, but want you to have 2-3 years of experience and a license from the NATA. Almost all athletic trainers go through college, that is the most common method of entry. It will take you a lot longer time to get where you wanna go if you do not go through college and get a degree in sports
