In 5 to 10 years from now, I see myself doing private or hospital practice and be able to help patients physically and mentally.
In this field, I believe that being a successful and professional physical therapist requires the ability to guide a patient from start to finish physically and mentally. Being a professional physical therapist requires the therapist to be able to aid and teach the patient about living a more active and healthy lifestyle. In searching for answers about this field, I found that being a physical therapist is not as easy as it seems. Giving therapy to a patient can be for a short or long time frame, but being able to guide someone to live healthier and more active after the therapy session is what a professional should be able to do. After doing this assignment, I found that this field provides satisfaction but also stress. It is easy to tell a patient what to do outside of the therapy session but the hard part is whether or not they will follow those steps because it requires their effort to those exercises and their choice on their eating
habits.
As a physical education instructor, I choose to be the instructor of sixth grader volleyball. The PE model I choose to teach my class is the Sports Education Model. The Sports Education Model provides the feature of sport education, the roles of students and teachers, a timeline, and how to set up a model. I choose this model because it was very easy to comprehend and the information is beneficial for a beginner physical education instructor. I hope my students would achieve good results on the game and be able to have a good experience through this game season. I would incorporate activities such as team building and skills testing to bound students and to help students use their strengths and overcome their weaknesses. I will be able to access whether or not these outcomes were achieved by doing physical tests and by seeing the results from the competition. I will be able to show the administration that I was able to deliver what I set the achieve by showing them the rosters and the results from the tournament.
