Why I Want To Be A Social Worker
Everyone has been through some problems in life where they needed the support of others. In life we need people but not everyone has some one to lean on. This is where a social worker comes in, they are the support system for anyone who needs it. My ideal job includes being able to help families, having a supervisor to help with decisions, and being able to work all day. Being a social worker has all those aspects. Rather it is being in the office helping people work through issues or going out in the community to help a family get all the resources they need, I am really looking forward to help. Everything about this career makes me want to be apart of it.
Imagine this, having something tragic happening to you causing you to be on the streets. Being alone and hungry trying to figure out how you are going to get through the day. Things like this happen to so many people who have no control over it. It is something no one should have to go through, this is why there are social workers. Being in this career I would be able to help get you back on your feet and get you through the day. Everything that gets put into the process of helping so many people is what I want to be apart of. This career is the ideal career for me because I can help many families, have some one like a supervisor to help me, and I would be able to work all day. I am aware if how much will go into this work and I am prepared to put all I have into it. So many people need help and to be part of the help they need is so amazing to me.
