Iowa has an extreme climate. It has a lot of storms like tornadoes and rain. It gets 49.2 tornadoes a

Year and it gets most tornadoes in the East. Iowa’s highest amount of rain is 3.8 inches ,but it has an

average 32 inches of rain annual. Iowa’s temperature in Des Moines is an average of 50 degrees fahrenheit

or 12 degrees celsius and in Keokuk it has an average of 45 degrees fahrenheit or 11 degrees celsius and

they are both extreme. Iowa’s season temperature is 71 degrees fahrenheit or 22 degrees celsius in

summer , -20 degrees fahrenheit in winter, 45 degrees fahrenheit or 12 degrees celsius in spring, and 67

degrees fahrenheit or 20 degrees celsius in fall.

Iowa has a lot of agriculture and industries.IADG stands for Iowa Area Development Group. It was

founded in 1985 and its job is to provide consultation. Iowa’s pig population is 30,000,000 which is four

times more than people. Iowa has a lot of agricultural farming. It has hog farms that have 13,500,000
