Band is a class that requires a unique way of thinking. Instead of learning with numbers and letters, you are given symbols and latin words and are expected to understand their meaning. Music runs in my family, so I am blessed to have been surrounded by it growing up. My grandmother plays the organ and the accordion, and growing up, I was always confused on how she knew what to play.
