Why Is Dress Code Important
Dress Code Every person in the United States wears clothing and everyone has their own style, but when is it appropriate to wear certain kinds of clothes? Dress codes can depend on anywhere from length to color to style. With so many options how do we know what is appropriate to wear in pubic or at school? Uniforms are common in some schools. They allow students to be dressed properly and insure that the student's attire is not reveling. These rules help make every student identical in what they wear. It allows the students to be uniform and same. It guarantees that every student follows the dress length, colors, and the cost of each uniform. This process helps make the students cloths match each other and their school colors. It is also a good way to make sure that all the students follow the dress code and are up to the school's dress policy. Dress codes also help promote good behavior and academics since the students are more focused on what there are learning than what their peers are wearing. Students do not have to continually worrying about their wardrobe being up to date and stressing about shopping for the latest styles. There are numerous ways clothing can represent gangs through bandanas, shoelace colors, and even sport team logos. While some of these are very easy to spot, others can be pretty difficult to notice. Those that are difficult to spot are the most dangerous because a student can be wearing something unknowingly that reflects a gang he or she is not even part of. For example, a kid can be wearing a shirt of his favorite basketball team that represents a gang and he might not even know it. This student could then be targeted by enemies of that gang because of what he wore. While not all schools have this problem but the schools that do, a dress code could potentially save a student's
