George washington was the single greatest American president of all time. Usually a president stays famous for a very long time because he made all the right moves during a war, or had a large impact on the country. george washington is famous for this, and so much more.

Of cours, Abraham Lincoln was the perfect president for his time, and delt with one of the most bloody and costly wars america has ever seen. on the other hand, George washington actually took place in the battles of the american revolution, the war that detemined our countrys existance, and he was not just an amazing military stratigest iether. He was also famous for signing the decloration of independance.
