Why Is George Washington The Best President
my research paper is on president George Washington and why I name him as the best US president. I believe that George Washington was the best US president because of how he united the nation and lead America into war against the British and the tactics he used in the war against the British.

my first reason for my opinion is the different tactics Washington used in the war with the British and how they were implemented. when Washington was in lead as the commander of the American Army he utilized guerilla warfare that was used by some of the pioneers on the frontier. By using this kind of warfare the colonists were given a leg up in the war. Washington also used deception to beat deception. the British were taking

Washington displayed his superb leadership skills as president whilst showing how he dealt with domestic policies. First off, he displayed the government’s new found strength through the Whiskey Rebellion, in which the farmers attempted to rise up against what they believed to be unfair taxes. In turn, the first president of the United States personally road down there with a militia and intimidated the rebels into following the law, once again, representing the power to enforce the law of the executive branch. I believe that George Washington, our very first President, had the biggest of successes. He had to figure out how to run a country. He had no one to look up to. He did everything on his own. Being the first, and not having experience, I think he didn't do that bad of a job. Another one of Washington's successes was that he led the Continental Army. He led the army into victory. Winning a war is a major success. Not only did Washington participate in the war, he led the army who fought and won the war. Washington also faced failures. He had a problem with the Indian tribes in the US. The British began to supply the Indians with arms and ammunition to attack the US settlers. Another failure of Washington was that he always seemed to side more with Hamilton. Not many people liked that idea. Washington also had slaves. Many people disagreed with the idea of slaves but Washington still had them, as our President.…

Presidential Evaluation- George Washington was a president of the highest measures. He set up the office of the president almost single-handedly and had to settle disgruntled farmers in western Pennsylvania that were specters of the original Revolutionaries. He also had to juggle both the British and French harassments and also choose to not support the new French government in their war against Britain. That choice was unpopular among many of the American people but he kept to his decision because he wanted to make sure that his new nation would continue to exist and hold its own against any foreign power in the future. To rate George Washington is an extremely difficult thing to do. The man set the guidelines of the presidency and was always looking out for the good of the government and the people. I will rate him 10/10 because he is the guideline for all the other presidents to compare…

As for the Election of 1800, my fellow shipbuilders and I continue to support whoever can grant our original wishes for the next President. A sturdy economic plan able to provide our nation with prosperity and stability is crucial to our next President’s ideas. Better yet, a focus on foreign relations with other nations while maintaining our own set of core values is vital for the next President. Developing a connected relationship with other countries will open business and trade opportunities benefiting not only the shipbuilding industry, but ones across the nation too. In addition, preservation of unalienable rights promised in the Constitution is not only important to have but also to have guaranteed.…

Most people believe that George Washington was the very first President of the United States. On the contrary to that belief I feel inclined to inform you, that George Washington was definitely not the first President of America. During the American Revolution the U.S Congress appointed Peyton Randolph to be President over America at that time, and we all know that George Washington was serving as a Major General. Regarding this information, Mathew Santoro sheds some light on the topic: "He [George Washington] became America's first popularly elected President, first President under the New Constitution. Yes. But in actuality was the 15th President to lead the United States." Though George Washington was not the first…
