King Louis XVI
Introduction
There are many things that come with the role as king, the name itself carries weight and the responsibilities could be unbearable. Some of the duties and things consist of making important decisions, leading and overseeing many of people, maturity and being able to rule. However, King Louis XVI was the king of France and his successes to rule was short lived because he lacks the duties, the ability to make important decisions, and responsibilities that it took to rule as king. In this paper we will discuss his early life, his reign, and the role he played as king.
His Early Life
On August 1754 a king was born, and his name was King Louis XVI. He was born in a Palace in Versailles. His parent was Queen Maria and king LouisXV, yes! I guess that it is safe to say that was a part of a family that possesses royalty. Duc de berry was the title that he was given to represent his junior status concerning the French Court. He grew being very shy but strong and healthy. Like many kids he loved to participate in sports and was very smart. Some of the sport that he loved were hunting, wrestling, and locksmithing . This would also make hid the last king of France and although he was heir to the throne, many believe he was too young to rule. Outside of his young age to rule, he was also married to Marie Antonia at the age of fourteen. Together they had four children which all died during childhood except one. This affected him greatly and added to pain, pushing him further into shell. This was another problem that affected King LouisXVI ability to rule. He was just simply out of touch and had no self-esteem or confidence. Trying to rule as king was very hard because he didn’t know how to make important decisions and had no one to help
