People enjoy soccer because it is a lot of fun when watching or participating. Soccer has been a big business in the world and continues to be, as many countries’ economies are built around it. One of the fastest growing businesses in the world today is soccer, and it is also one of the fastest ways of making younger people rich in our current world. However, the Bible says, “for the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs” (1 Timothy 6:10). The Bible made it clear that despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, most people still believe that money brings happiness. Rich people craving greater riches can be caught in an endless cycle that only ends in ruin and destruction. To Christians athletes, the Bible encourages that we should be content with what we have. People have to realize that that one-day riches will be gone. We have to love people more than money and lastly love God’s work more than
