Why Is The Second Amendment Important
The second Amendment was ratified in 1791, so it’s been around for a long time. It actually has been around for 227 years. That’s why the second Amendment should stay and we should be guaranteed the rights of the second Amendment.

The second Amendment of the U.S Constitution reads, “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” The second Amendment is an Individual right. Individual rights are rights that are guaranteed to American citizens, or these are the Bill of Rights. The Bill of Rights are the first ten Amendments. In the court case District of Columbia v.
