Amongst other awards, the Zoo holds the Learning outside the Classroom Quality Badge. Referred to appendix 2.
Place – Looking at their geographic segmentation, you can see that they are based in the centre of UK. This can allow people from East Midlands to easily drive to their destination.
Bear in mind it is an open zoo, so weather and climate can be one of their threats towards people coming to this attraction, as on a rainy day no one would be willing to be outside in the cold and get wet.
However, there are buses that go to the zoo, from Fenny Drayton – Atherstone – Twycross Zoo – Measham, which they have provided a timetable if people have difficulties in getting there. There are neighbouring zoo's around Twycross Zoo but aren't unique as what their performances are.

On Wednesday September 16th of 2015, I will be going to the Smithsonian National Zoo with a group of my friends. The Zoo was founded in 1889. It is one of the oldest zoos in the world. There are 1800 animals that live in the zoo. One of the most famous spots in the zoo for tourists to see is the Giant Panda exhibit. The giant pandas recently just gave birth to baby pandas. I have only been to the Smithsonian National Zoo once. I went in eighth grade for a school wide field trip. I love seeing animals and going to the zoo. Back where I am from (Delaware) there are not any zoos or big public attractions for young kids and teenagers.…

The gorilla is the bulkiest member of the primate family; an adult gorilla may grow up to 1.8m high (although they seldom stand fully upright). There are three species of gorillas recognized worldwide. The most common race, the western lowland gorilla is not present in Uganda but an estimated 40000 live in the rainforests of west and central Africa. The endangered eastern lowland gorilla is restricted to patches of forests in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. The most threatened specie is the mountain gorilla. Their total number is estimated to be only 700. Half of these mountain gorillas lie in Uganda. The mountain gorillas have become Uganda’s most major attraction and a truly Ugandan safari cannot be complete without tracking the mountain gorilla from Bwindi or Mgahinga National park. Looking into the dark brown eyes of these mammals is quite a memorable experience that Uganda other than any other destination in the world can offer.…

The beginning of the Chinese immigration can date back to 1858, around the time of the British Columbia gold rush. The number of Chinese immigrates increased during the construction of the Canadian Pacific Railway (1881-1885), when they were brought here as cheap laborers. However, instead of showing gratitude toward these people, the Canadian government set out harsh rules in order to “reserve” a “white man’s country” (Prime Minister R.B.Bennett, 1907).…

As one can see, wild animals shouldn’t be anything other than wild animals. Keeping these animals caged up takes away from the way they should live. They shouldn't be captive for us humans to see, while they suffer. And in the midst of it all the zoo’s are the ones happy, making large profits everyday. Taking away your child freedom. Does that sound like something you’d want to happen to your…
