I mean you can only give so many examples before it is the same thing over and over. I sit here late yet again but why would I care about being late? We don’t do anything. So what is the point? This is all a joke why we are here is a joke. I have been stripped of my motivation it is gone. I have to follow and do what I am told but for what nothing because I already know that I was not going to get promoted so why would I try hard to get promoted. Ya’ll want me to be all gung ho but the truth is that I have no reason to be all I can be. Why be on time to work when we don’t do anything. You want us to be on time and you want us to work hard but how can we if there is nothing to be done. I sit before everyone got here I worked my ass off. I worked my ass off because I had something to work towards, my promotion. Then ya told me that you don’t do wavers and that you don’t think anyone deserves to be promoted. That day you took all motivation

One of the first things I learned upon entering the proud United States Army was to be at the right place, at the right time, in the right uniform, with the right attitude. No Soldier can go wrong as long as they stick to those guidelines. That said, there are Soldiers that do happen to slip up and find that they are not at the right place at the right time. Those people are most commonly known as ‘’no shows”. What do I mean by “no shows”? “No shows” are the Soldiers that fail to show up at their "place of duty" at the time they were designated to be there.…

Being on time is important in everything you do especially in the medical field. By not being on time you can cause problems for not just you but other people as well. For instance, if you are to be replacing someone and you are not on time you can make that person late because they had to wait for you. By just one person being late can disrupt the events of an entire day and also a whole day of scheduling. An example of this is a patient having to wait for medical services due to you being late. If you are late to an appointment you are taking up valuable time that could be used by another person. Another reason it is always important to be on time is if you are going to a job interview and you are not on time you could lose the position because it is a first impression of how your work ethic could be. Even if you just make plans with some friends to see a movie, you should be on time because if you are late you and your friends will miss part of the movie. In the military you can receive severe punishment under the Uniform Code of Military Justice for not being on time. Some of the consequences can include loss of rank, loss of pay, and having to pull extra duty while under restriction. Repeatedly being late in the military could lead to a discharge from service. Also if you are constantly late for employment you will face punishment that could include having your hours cut back, your earnings garnished, or possibly fired from that position. After creating a history of being late to a point that you are let go from your job, it can become difficult to find future employment due to the fact that employers will contact your previous employer to find out why you were released from your position with that company resulting in a bad reference. Also after making a habit of being late to your friends, family and your employers you will not be considered reliable you will overlooked with important events due to your lack of time management. On a small scale, being punctual for formations and general points of duty allows leaders to ensure accountability for their soldiers, address notes and tasks for the day, and promotes organization within the unit. In a larger picture, everyone’s responsibilities for the day are dependent on the entire unit to be where they need to be at the appropriate time. For example, in the event of a company going to the range the armor has to be available to open the arms room to issue the weapons as leaders need ample time to take accountability of their soldiers and to thoroughly conduct pre-combat checks and pre-combat inspections. Support units are obligated to arrive on time due to their responsibility to provide ammunition and transportation. Something as simple as the armor being late can cause a domino effect for the entire mission.…

It’s human, and common for busy students, to leave difficult tasks until later. Procrastination can develop into a habit that causes serious problems. The first reason in why people procrastinate is because of perfection. In other words the perfectionist procrastinator thinks that not trying is better than an attempt that falls short or perfection. Another reason people procrastinate is the fear of limitations, for example people try to avoid the truth about what he or she can achieve. Last is being unsure of the next step. When a procrastinator is unsure of the next step he or she may get stuck and does not know what to do next, sometimes it just seems easier to procrastinate on that task rather than jump into the next level.…

Managing time is one the most important factor in student life even though in professions. Basically time management makes a student see different challenges of life especially for students who are unable to manage their time effectively without which students could make their studies more effective and also for people who work. However time management is a key to success in life. Basically I think a good time management is essential to success at university. If you plan your time sensibly which allows you to spread your work over a session, avoid a traffic jam of work, and cope with study stress. Many deadlines for university work occur at the same time and unless you plan ahead, you will find it impossible to manage. Punctuality shows that you are responsible, trustworthy and can follow directions. Punctuality isn't just an order that the Army requires, but also a good personal trait that is a reflection of a person’s character, it shows that you have personal integrity and self-discipline. While some of us are occasionally late due to circumstances beyond our control, habitual tardiness shows a lack of respect for other people and their time. If someone is late continually that shows that they more then likely do not care about what their NCO tells them. Time is a precious gem that should not be wasted at any cost. If you don't use your time wisely, you can never get it back. It is a very special resource in that you cannot store it or save it for later. Promptness is not only a duty, but is also a part of good manners, it is favorable to fortune, reputation, influence, and usefulness. Lack of punctuality is a theft of someone else's time and a complete lack of respect for others. You should be punctual in everything you do. Punctuality goes hand in hand with military discipline. Recruits are taught to obey, immediately and without question, orders from their superiors, right from the day one of boot camp. Military discipline and effectiveness is built on the foundation of obedience to orders. This is why we are supposed work so well as a team. By following orders from the more…
