Why Kids Should Have Less Homework
Have you ever gotten home after school and realized how much homework you have due the next day and all of the tests you have to study for? Most teens have been in this situation once or more times before. It happens really frequently. Some kids get really stressed out and can not finish all of the work. This can cause you to get a zero on the assignment and hurt your average. Kids should have less homework.

Homework does not serve a purpose. Kids go to school to learn things. We learn for eight solid hours, and come home to do more work. Most teens are included in a sport or activity out of school they participate in. Trying to juggle school work, activities, and trying to spend time with your family does not exactly work. It is very hard to participate in any out of school activity, be able to keep your grades high and always have your homework.

Teens should get at least eight full hours of sleep. That is not the case for teens who are included in a variety of activities anywhere from sports to church activities. You generally get home pretty late, and you barely have any time to work on your homework and study for tests. Homework can cause kids to stay up way later than what they should. This can also cause bad sleeping habits.

As you get older, you become more social, but it is harder to keep up with school work at the same time. Your friends and family feel nonexistent to you because you are so caught up in your work and sports such as basketball or ballet. Getting older also means having more homework. Homework means time, which most teens do not quite have. Teachers should clue in that teens have a life out of school

Since Roberto Nevilis introduced it to the world as a punishment in 1905, there have been many arguments to whether or not homework should be required. What initially started as punishment for kids who messed around in class has become a mandatory task that all students are required to do daily. I’m here to end that, I intend to show you that students should not be required to complete homework for a grade. Homework consumes too much time and leaves no space for extracurricular activities and causes health problems. On top of that, many students don’t even have the resources required to complete the homework. Despite these things, homework is still a graded assignment that if failed to complete, can drastically bring down a student's grade.…

Homework has been around for as long as there have been tax paying schools. The first person to create homework was Robert Nevilis from Italy in 1905 (Roberto). Over the years that homework has been around, people have gotten different impressions and opinions on the topic. Most students believe it is way too much and unnecessary. Teachers believe that homework is very useful and beneficial for the students. While other faculty members believe it is a waste of time. We get gosh darn homework to do for another at least an hour when we arrive home.Teachers always wonder why kids are missing assignments. Hey teachers wanna know why because we get so burnt out we figure we would rather go out and do something rather than sitting in the house studying and working so we don't fail a class.Think about it should homework really even count as a grade? I think not, maybe extra credit if that! Should homework really determine if we fail or not? I think if a student works hard enough in class and completes his or hers assignment correctly that should be enough. And if that kid doesn't do that assignment then it should be homework any other way to me in…
