To begin with, kids normally get exhausted by the middle of the school week because they need a longer break. When you are tired you don't really try, resulting in not learning anything. Physical learning is being overshadowed by mental education, forcing students to become inactive. Not only that, but if students already get enough exercise, they could take classes outside of school to get help or advance their learning. Lots of students don't truly understand what they are learning in school, and there are tons of programs to help they be a better student.
Not only that, but there are a lot of Mondays in the year that have holidays where the students don't go to school anyway. Days like Columbus Day, Martin Luther King Day, and Presidents' Day students don't go to school on, so a few more wouldn't be the end of the world. Moreover, The school could also save money, so the students could go on more educational field trips or get better supplies like books.
