Abstract
In this essay I will discuss and explain why not to be a vegetarian. Nowadays more and more people decide to become a vegetarian and I have written out the main reasons why people become vegetarians. Then I have explained which nutrients are not in vegetarian diet. I have also pointed out some benefits of being a vegetarian and then written out reasons why is human meant not to be a vegetarian and reasons why should not be a vegetarian and why should be a meat eater. The benefits of meat eating diet outweighs the vegetarian diet, which mean that vegetarianism is not necessary and is a bad choice.
Why not be a vegetarian?
Vegetarianism is nowadays a very popular trend, people become vegetarians for many reasons. First of them are ethical reasons, people choose not to eat animals because they learn about how animals are treated and raised for food. Then it is for health reasons, some people give up eating meat just because they are afraid of heart diseases, high cholesterol in meat and hormones which are injected into meat. Next reasons are environmental reasons, vegetarians don’t eat meat because they would like to save the planet by it. They think they can stop farmers from deforesting forests. The big number of these voluntary vegetarians raises the questions like: “should we stop eating animals?” or “is meat needed part of the human diet?” We should not stop and it is needed in our diet, but why many of them tell us, the meat consumers, that we should stop?
At first we should take a look on human’s dental structure. The structure is combination of flat and sharp teeth. According to talk by John Mcardle, Ph.D., usually herbivores have flat teeth and carnivores sharp teeth, that would mean that human is structured to eat meat and plants, since human have both types of teeth.
