I don’t go to sleep until ten or eleven o ‘clock. School starts at eight a.m. and doesn’t end until three p.m. some kids have jobs they have to go to after school. sometimes their shift doesn’t end until ten or eleven p.m. So when they get home from work they don’t have time to do anything but sleep especially if they have chores or homework. Kids may even start to like school because they don’t have to get up at this early time. Falling asleep behind the wheel could cause an accident causing kids to get hurt or even lose their lives. This is a serious issue the school board should put in consideration. In conclusion, waking up and going to sleep early is very difficult for some kids including myself. Some kids wake up early in the morning causing them to be sleepy in school. Students aren’t the only ones affected by the early mornings, bus drivers and teachers are also suffering from it. If schools started at a later time it would help a lot. I would be happy if I found out school started at ten or eleven instead of

During teenage years, students bodies are designed to stay up later and sleep in. Both When Sleep Becomes A Nightmare, an article written by Scholastic, and the National Sleep Foundation website agree with just that!
