Why Should Children Switch Classes In Middle School
Should children switch classes at a young age?Most schools have children switching classes at Middle School, but some think that they should switch earlier and are changing it. This is a very controversial topic between districts. Different districts will have different opinions on the matter. Children should not start switching classes in elementary. If you don’t switch in elementary the parents will be able to get information on their kid easier because they will only have to talk to one teacher. In source one it states “They feel it is easier to talk to one teacher who teaches their child all day, rather than try to talk to many teachers.(Source 1). This show that parents find it easier to talk to one teacher who knows their child more and who sees how they behave all throughout the day. …show more content…
In sorce two it says “By staying in one classroom with one teacher for the whole day, the youngest students can bond with their teachers..(Source 3).” This illustrates how being with the same teacher all day helps children being comfortable with their teachers and creating a safe environment for the kids. Some teachers struggle with switching earlier because they can’t plan as well. In source 1 it claims “The teachers don’t have enough extra time to put a plan together. They prefer a single classroom where they can plan at their own pace.(Source 1). This reveals that teachers can make better plans if they have the children the whole day and the teachers won’t be as stressed about making plans. Children should not start switching classes in elementary school. They should start switching that later because it will make talking to the teacher easier, the children will bond better with the teacher, and it will making putting plans together easier for
