Why Shouldn T Child Soldiers Have To Have Amnesty?
They have to stop wanting to put child soldiers in jail because they are just trying to help in the war. The issue is that they sometimes don’t even want to fight but they forces them to do it and is not really their fault because some of them don’t even want to do it. I agree that they have to have amnesty because they are just trying to help in the war and is something dangerous if you think of it closely because they can get kill in the war so here are my three reasons of why they should have amnesty. My first reason is, They are being force to be on a war. My second reason is that,They are scared of saying no.And my last reason is that,

My first reason is, They are being forced to be on the war. I think that the children should be able to enjoy their childhood but they are forced to do something they don’t want to do. When they are force to be on the war child soldiers are not morally

Because they know if they say no the other people that take them away could do something bad to them because child soldiers don’t have a chance to say if they want to stay with their family of if they want to go to war. Some of them don’t want to go and leave their house and parents but they know that even if they stand up for thereself they will still have to leave because they are maybe scared on that moment and they really don’t know what they are going to do to them. I think that is a bad feeling if you are living that in real life because you are just a little kid when they take you away from your family and you don’t know where they are going to take you and because they are taking you away from your parents on a young age to places you have never been before and with other people that you don’t even know or have never seen them before on your life so I think that for this kids is something hard and sad knowing that they will maybe never see their parents never again is just

In the more recent world though we don’t have a need to use children in war. Their main concern should be about learning, not whether or not they are going to get a bullet in their head. Child soldiers have been used as weapons of war against their rivals for centuries. In the United Kingdom children can step up to fight in the military as young as sixteen. The United Kingdom's belief is that by training them at such a young age it will make them become better fighter. Citizens from the United Kingdom are fighting for the rights of their children by trying to raise the age that they can enlist to eighteen. It is unacceptable to take a child from their home, and the people that they know so that they can fight in a war that they don't understand. That will lead them to come back deprived of the basic education that they would have had if they stayed in school, or they may not come back home at all. The United Kingdom needs to change their outlook on this issue, it is unacceptable for a world power to use children to fight their wars. For now organizations like childsoldiersinternational.org are doing all that they can to try to change the law, but they need the support of people to prove to the U.K. government that using children is not the way to win…

All around the world, abandoned children are used as soldiers during war time. In countries like Colombia, any child that can hold a gun can be used as a soldier. Children are considered perfect for the job because “they are easily manipulated, intensely loyal, fearless, and most important, in endless supply,” according to Jeffrey Gettlemen’s Upfront Magazine article, “Armed and Underage.” These children are not just used because these countries need soldiers, but because they can make more. Child soldiers should be given amnesty because most have lost their families and have nowhere else to go, they are underage to be prosecuted in most countries, and they are being manipulated by commanders..…

Imagine this, a war medic is trying to save as many people as they can. They are not trying to make one side win rather than the other, all the medic wants is to keep people from dieing. They go from person to person healing them, then all of a sudden, a child runs out. The medic urges the child to get back to safety, he runs away leaving only two things 1. a curious medic 2. a grenade that will explode in 3...2...1. The medic now needs a medic. What should happen to that seemingly innocent child that ever so carelessly killed a person who was just trying to help anyone he could. Child soldiers should be prosecuted for their war crimes as if they themselves were official war soldiers. These children should be held accountable for their actions because they show no remorse for their actions, they have been doing this since a very young age, and the lack of consequences can teach their commanders that using children is a safe way for them to carry out vicious attacks.…

Without consequences to the soldiers’ actions, their commanders are free to give them any orders, knowing that the children will still be let free. In an article found on the website IRIN, it was said that “If minor children who have committed serious war crimes are not prosecuted, [it] could be an incentive for their commanders to delegate to them the dirtiest orders, aiming at impunity" ("Should child soldiers be prosecuted for their crimes?"). This means that the leaders will focus on what children are allowed to do without punishment, and specifically take these terrible acts to their extreme, knowing that it will not even matter. The article, “Sierra Leone: Child Soldiers”, specifically describes the orders children are given, before and after. Orders began with looting and stealing, but as more children were given amnesty, they progressed to raping women, performing executions, and even cannibalism(Wessels). Who knows what commanders will direct next. This is extremely dangerous, and the only solution is that former child soldiers cannot be given…

Child soldiers are defined as children, meaning they are under eighteen years old, who are used in the military. The military purposes for which they are used include fighting in combat, but may also entail jobs such as being cooks, porters, messengers, informants, or spies. Both boys and girls can be child soldiers. Children in the military are at the mercy of their commanders and must do whatever they are told to do or else risk being killed. This issue is completely unjust because child soldiers are forced to take part in horrific violence, including killing other human beings and acting as suicide bombers. Through mental manipulation, they are stripped of their innocence and made to believe they are fighting for a good cause, thus…

Many Child soldiers are being placed in the middle of a war and should be granted amnesty. These children are being forced to fight. The warlords are using alcohol and drugs to make it so the children don’t know what they’re doing and are forcing the children to fight. They become brainwashed when they are consuming the drugs and alcohol. On the other hand, the child soldiers are committing the same crime as child criminals and should have the same consequence as them. Both criminals are killing so why don’t both of them suffer persecution? Children should not be exposed to this type of violence. If children are being put into battlefields at a young age, their future life may be filled with violence as well. As you can see, the lives of the child soldiers are at stake and we should give them amnesty so they can get the help that they need.…

War violates every right of a child, right to life, right to be with family, and right to be respected. UNICEF conducted a survey by interviewing 1,505 children in Sarajgus Africa. It found that 97% of these children experienced shelling, 20% of them had terrible dreams, 55% of these children have been shot by snippers and 66% have had near death experience; this resource is published by “The State of The Worlds Children”. Although there's a lot of controversy on if the use of child soldiers is humane, many agree that its very wrong that people still use child soldiers today. And many agree that children aren't meant to experience these traumas, and they may suffer the rest of their lives from experiencing this at such a young age.…
