Utopias that are unfair are in your everyday life. Here are some examples of utopias. Utopias are also unfair because people don’t have freedom. An example is in a book called The
House of The Scorpion. There are eejits and they have to do exactly as they are told and they work all day. In utopias people also don’t have freedom because the leader wants everything to be perfect.
For this reason the people have to follow every rule and can’t do what they want to do. Going back to the book a quote that shows people don’t have freedom is, “Rosa? Matt said. She looked …show more content…
Another example for why utopias are unfair is in the short story “Harrison Bergeron”. This story is unfair because some of the people get more handicaps and changes done to them, so they are perfect. A quote that shows this is, “Hazel had a perfectly average intelligence, which meant she couldn’t think about anything except in short bursts. And George, while his intelligence was way above normal, had a little mental handicap radio in his ear. I put this quote because it shows that
Hazel doesn’t have to wear handicaps but George does. My last example is in Adolf Hitler’s utopia. Adolf Hitler was mean and evil. He killed many Jews and more. People during this time couldn’t live their normal lives. They weren’t given a choice between life and death. If you were a Jew Hitler would kill you. This was very unfair, and to think that he thought this was a perfect way to live was even worse. A quote from him is, “Demoralize the enemy from within by surprise, terror, sabotage, assassination. This is the war of the future.” I think this quote is talking about him sneaking up on the enemy also known as the Jews is through
